Dislocation of the joint is a traumatic injury to the joint, as a result of which the articular surfaces are displaced and completely lose contact, and the articular bag is torn.
Dislocation symptoms: Severe, sharp pain in the area of the dislocated joint, aggravated when trying to move the joint. Lack or limited range of motion in the joint.
In case of dislocation, movements in the joint are immediately disrupted, this dislocation differs from contusion, in which pain and dysfunction increase gradually. Usually, the patient does not allow touching the damaged area.
