In winter, which is already knocking at our door, the reserves of vitamins in the body deplete, so its resistance to various, such as colds, noticeably decreases.

To improve immunity, I recommend as often as possible to include cranberries in the diet.

Cranberry juice is obtained by squeezing the berries through gauze or passing them through a juicer. Of it are made into various drinks that are used for avitaminosis and inflammatory diseases, accompanied by high fever.

Cranberry syrups and morses help to reduce fever and quench thirst well.

Cranberry juice and other beverages made from cranberries are recommended as a separate meal or 20-30 minutes before a meal, but immediately after cooking, otherwise the healing properties are lost.

— To make cranberry syrup take 1 liter of cranberry juice, 1 kg of sugar and 1 liter of water.
The sugar is dissolved in boiling water, the resulting syrup is mixed with cranberry juice, boiled for 3-5 minutes and poured into sterilized jars.

— To prepare cranberry morsels take 1 cup cranberries and 0.5 cups of sugar.

Washed cranberries are crushed, squeeze the juice from it. Pour 1 liter of water over the pulp and boil for 15 minutes. Decoction strained, add sugar, the juice of a lemon, cool and drink 0.5-1 glasses at a time.

— Even more useful is cranberry juice with honey. For its preparation, instead of sugar take 2 tablespoons of honey. Blanch the cranberries, mash, pour 1 liter of water, boil for 8 minutes, strain, add honey and infuse for 2 hours. Drink cranberry juice as warm or cooled.

— To preserve the nutritional and healing properties of cranberries, hostesses have learned to cook cranberries in their own juice with sugar.

For this purpose, we put berries in glass jars, pour sugar syrup, made at the rate of 0.5 kg of sugar sand per 1 liter of cranberry juice, warm the jars in boiling water: half-liter — 3 minutes, a liter — 5 minutes and three-liter — 8 minutes, then cool them and put in storage.
