Thrombophlebitis — inflammation of the venous wall with blockage of the vein by a blood clot. As a result of the disease, the vessels become thinner, varicose nodes, edema and trophic ulcers appear.

To prevent this disease, you should constantly monitor the level of cholesterol in the blood. After all, it is cholesterol plaques that form the hydrodynamic conditions for the appearance of blood clots.

To normalize cholesterol levels and thin the blood, you should choose herbal tea from arnica, yarrow and St. John’s wort.

In a dry bowl, mix 25 g of St. John’s wort, 20 g of yarrow and 5 g of arnica flowers. 2 tbsp. l. collection, pour 500 ml of boiling water, cover the dishes with a lid and leave for 30 minutes. Strain the infusion.
Consume a glass daily in small portions throughout the day.

TREATMENT OF VARICOSIS.

A high content of low density cholesterol can provoke the development of varicose veins. Varicose veins are accompanied by the appearance of spider veins, swelling of the ankles, heaviness and pain in the legs.

In addition to such external manifestations, varicose veins can have serious complications: bleeding and trophic ulcers of the affected vein. Therefore, it is very important to clean the blood vessels in time and prevent the formation of cholesterol plaques.

At the first sign of varicose veins, it is worth trying an infusion of knotweed leaves, plantain, lingonberry, horsetail and calendula flowers. Such a drink will reduce manifestations and halt the development of the disease.

In a dry bowl, mix 20 g each of knotweed leaves, plantain, lingonberry, horsetail and calendula flowers. 2 tbsp. l. pour the mixture into a thermos, pour 500 ml of boiling water and leave overnight.

Drink the infusion three times a day, 70 ml. The duration of the course of treatment is a month.

Cholesterol plaques are a serious threat to the normal functioning of the entire body. To prevent serious illness, it is important to control blood cholesterol levels. For prevention, it is recommended:

stick to a healthy diet;
monitor weight;
do sport;
move a lot during the day;
do not smoke or abuse alcohol;
avoid stressful situations.

It is worth giving up junk food with a high content of animal fats, muffins, smoked meats, confectionery, strong tea and coffee.

And increase in the daily diet the amount of sea fish, lean meat, fresh vegetables and fruits, legumes, cereals, olive and corn oil, fresh juices.

However, you should regularly take a blood test for cholesterol. Usually it is enough to undergo such an examination every 3-4 years.

But for people at risk, the examination should be carried out much more often. This applies to those who:

has relatives with cardiovascular diseases;
has diabetes or hypertension;
is overweight;
has chronic inflammatory processes (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, HIV);
has had a heart attack, stroke or is suffering from coronary heart disease.
