When insomnia is the result of stress, depression, nervous tension, strong mental stress, then the hawthorn will help to normalize sleep.

Hawthorn fruits are characterized by a sedative effect: thanks to this, they help to overcome the asomnia associated with a nervous breakdown. The calming effect of eating fruits is due to the action of specific components that are in their composition:

Oleanolic acid improves the circulation of the nervous system.
Hyperozide stimulates the contractile property of the myocardium, stabilizing the work of the heart.
Vitexin dilates blood vessels, normalizes metabolism in the heart muscle.
Quercetin affects the blood circulation in the brain, thereby relieving headaches.

HOW AND WHO TO DRINK HAWTHORN?

To get rid of insomnia, the hawthorn decoction according to this recipe should be consumed throughout the day. And since the drug causes drowsiness and can reduce concentration, it is better not to drink it for people behind the wheel.

Hawthorn is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation, with vegetative-vascular dystonia, liver diseases; hypotensive patients should use it carefully.

Water — 200 ml

COOKING METHOD

Place the hawthorn in a saucepan. Pour boiling water over.
Place in a water bath for 30 minutes.
Remove the container and cover it with a lid. Let the product stand for 10-15 minutes. Strain.
Adults use a decoction of 1/3 cup 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. In addition, they drink it before going to bed: for 1-2 hours, 100 ml.

Add 3 tbsp. l. the resulting mixture into a heat-resistant container.
Pour 1 liter of boiling water over the herbs.
Place in a water bath for 15 minutes.
Cover the product with a lid and let it brew at room temperature for 45 minutes. Strain.
The prepared soothing infusion should be drunk 2-3 times throughout the day.
