Diet on fish and seafood. Scientists have long proven the undeniable benefits of seafood for humans. The seafood present in the diet provides the body with amino acids, vitamins A, B and E, iodine, zinc, calcium and phosphorus.

It is customary to refer to seafood:

sea fish;
shrimp;
squid;
scallops;
crabs;
mussels;
seaweed.

Many nutritionists recommend eating as much seafood as possible for overweight people. In addition, the use of seafood is at the heart of two methods of losing weight: short-term and long-term.

Fish and seafood diet for 2-4 days

This technique involves eating only seafood. The drinking ration consists of green tea and coffee, herbal infusions and still water.

Breakfast: 200-250 g of shrimp (boil, season with lemon juice).
Lunch: 200-250 g of mussels and seaweed.
Dinner: 150 g of low-fat marine fish (boil), 200 ml of low-fat kefir.

It is allowed to drink low-fat kefir between meals. Observing this diet, you can get rid of 1-2 extra pounds. However, the imbalance in the menu does not allow to continue such a diet for more than 4 days without compromising health.

Long-term fish and seafood diet

In addition to seafood and kefir, this diet option allows you to add bread, herbs, fruits, vegetables, hard cheese and freshly squeezed juice to the diet.

Breakfast: kelp salad, a slice of dietary bread, a cup of tea.
Lunch: vegetable salad, seafood soup, fruit.
Dinner: steamed or grilled fish, salad of vegetables and herbs, fruit.

As a snack, you can use low-fat dairy products, fruits, juice, cereal bread. The duration of this diet option can be 6-7 days. Weight loss can be 3-4 kg.

Each of the fish and seafood diet options strictly prohibits the addition of salt, sugar, sugary sodas and alcohol to the diet.

Contraindications to the beginning of such a diet are individual intolerance to seafood or fish, as well as exacerbation of chronic diseases. In addition, it is important to pay attention to the quality of the products. Frequent freezing (thawing) and long-term storage can spoil the seafood.
